In response to the exceptional times, in 2020 the festival does an intermission with broad international programming. Instead, it’s going inward. We look into the depth of the local scene and present projects that have not gained the popularity they deserve, as well as new collaborations.

The program includes live streaming from Closer: Dennis Adu Big Band performing arrangements on their original music; Ukrainian avant-gardists Svitlana Nianio, and Ihor Tsymbrovsky, and premieres of Georgiy Potopalskiy (UN) w/ Kristina Kirik, and Dmytro Avksentiev (Koloah, Voin Oruwu) w/ Dennis Adu as experimental collaborations commissioned by the festival.
